Just got discharged from SGH for syncope on 25/2/2011. Well baby kaitlyn haven't been good to mummy. Mummy been fainting very frequently. On 17 feb 2011, mummy fainted with an episode of fits at maternal grandpa's house after dinner. It was a scary incident that mummy could hardly remember anything during the fits.
Well.. on monday, 21 feb, mummy saw Dr devendra @ the clinic and thankfully baby full scan was all fine. However, Dr Dev told mummy that if she were to faint one more time, She'll have to get herself admitted and he'll refer her to the neuro Drs for a full detailed neurological examination and probably a MRI Brain scan. Well on 24 Feb, mummy was reported back to work for her morning shift. While check how to use the CPAP machine for patient, mummy suddenly felt unwell and was close to syncopy. Thankfully her colleagues were by mummy's side and managed to support her. Mummy sat one patient's bed and felt everything was spinning. It was extremely scary.
Mummy rested a little while in the patient's toilet and came out to give Dr Dev a call. He asked mummy to go A&E straight and get admitted. Thanks to ANC Lim W.T, she accompanied mummy to A&E. Mummy was then admitted to Wd 53 Room 10 bed 3. That day mummy did a baby gender ultrasound scan too! initially baby kaitlyn was being mean, crossing her legs. After some massage, she became hyper n started kicking mummy! Her legs were open and it reviewed that baby in mummy's tummy is a GIRL! Mummy is HAPPY!!! Daddy wishes for a boy but he's also contented with baby kaitlyn. After which, the neuro drs came and reviewed mummy. Ordered an EEG which mummy had to go the next day.Mummy was very tired during the procedure and the radiographer knew it too:) Mummy desperately wanted to get discharge. Thankfully, Dr Dev gave mummy the permission. Woo Hoo!!! Mummy can't stand staying in the hospital. Mummy will be seeing Dr Dev again on 21 March and the neuro Dr in April. Hope baby Kaitlyn stays good and healthy in mummy's tum tum and not give mummy problems:)
